Q: What is the Quantum Results Boot Camp?

A: It is a high-impact program for cross-functional teams committed to improving their team performance and achieving measurable results for their organization. This powerful action learning experience focuses on 30 cross-functional team member success behaviors, designed to drive personal and professional impact and measurable results in performance and productivity. It provides proven, advanced team and collaboration skills designed to:

  • Develop individual cross-functional teamwork skills;

  • Drive peak cross-functional team performance; and,

  • Deliver measurable cross-functional results to the organization.

Q: What is the most important skill gained from the Boot Camp?

A: Taking what you’ve learned about yourself in cross-functional team situations and working collaboratively with others to achieve meaningful and measurable organizational results.

Q: Tell me more about these 30 Success Behaviors? Can you give an example?

A: We have seen, and experienced a lot in our more than 25 years of helping organization leaders drive performance and productivity. We know the business of learning and collaboration and the struggle of working with others across organizational boundaries. We know the crucial role human behavior plays in cross-functional team success. From our work have emerged 10 behaviors in each category of Learning, Teaming and Performing. Examples of these behaviors include: accepts feedback without defensiveness, provides feedback without offensiveness; generates new ideas or approaches to work; strives to improve work processes beyond just doing a job.

Q: How much time is required?

A: Considerable! This is why we call it a Boot Camp. Team members invest a total of approximately 60 hours, which may span up to 6 months in duration. Included are 30 hours of high intensity experiential face-to-face workshop facilitation. 10 hours of pre-work and inter-session assignments help team members use and internalize the training. The program culminates in the formation of cross-functional project teams to plan and implement measurable organizational improvements.

Q: How does the Boot Camp work?

A: A variety of approaches are employed to support learning, teaming and performing; however, the key to achieving sustainable and profitable results is feedback, feedback, feedback. The Boot Camp includes several self-knowledge instruments, 180° or 360° feedback on the 30 ross-functional team member profitable behaviors, on-going assessments of learning, creation of an individual team member improvement plan and much more.
